Cheers to the girls in Flat 7!
This one is for each of you, as we pack and figure how the hell we are going to get all our stuff back let’s remember the laughter we shared. In a few short weeks we shared a bond that will be unique for the rest of our lives. The memories will be forever…
Wendy and your tequila shots, then eating 10 lemon wedges; literally eating them. Thanks for always laughing when I dance in the room- you know it keeps me going. Thanks for letting me vent even when you got annoyed with me and then for the times when you were on the same page… like Paris!!! AHHHH I’m gonna miss being a flat mate with you!!
F.O.B aka Jackie D and your shopping, whenever we didn’t know where you were we assumed you were at Primark or Topshop and then sure enough you came home with one, or both, of those bags. Thanks for checking on of my bags in for me and for getting my travel card when we went to Paris. It’s been great getting to know you and your silly ways.
Blake and your signing, your nudist ways and always apologizing. The time I spent with you was fun so don’t apologize. We will re-unit soon enough and ride our bikes on the beach! But please don’t make me walk up a spiral staircase in a tube station that is never ending again! =) Every time I see twirls (if that ever is in CA) know that I will always think of you!
Kaitlyn and your shots of vodka when we first got here and always falling or tripping thanks for keeping the mood light around here. I will miss your laugh too it is very unique.
Then there is Jackie Fanara… I have nothing to say about you!! Haha J/K I won’t miss being woken up in the middle of the night by your loud voice/laughter or phone calls! LOL But I will miss your laughter and being able to tell it the way it is around you!! ;) I’m sorry we never went to the park together or the ice bar but the memories I created with you will never be forgotten!!
Let’s not forget Nancy- Although all our time was cut short with you, we missed you terribly! I missed talking about the elephant with you! Walking around London and doing all the cool things! Please please please let me know when you get back from Hong Kong and we will need to get together. Barcelona was my favorite time with you and I have the best memories with you from there =) !!
Let’s all raise our glasses tonight at dinner and member these 10 weeks forever!!

Its been a long time; Shouldn't have left you...
Sorry it’s been a while and now I will be home soon, but let me fill you in…. Memorial weekend for you guys back home is not memorial weekend here obviously but we did have that Monday off and so we went to Paris. I honestly was not too impressed with the city. The French Open was that weekend as well so it was super busy and dirty, the French are completely obviously about their hatred for Americans even when we tried to speak French. So anyway the only good parts of the weekend were seeing the Eiffel Tour at night- very pretty and a very neat experience and then Disneyland! I think we enjoyed Disneyland so much more because of how the weekend was going, because to be honest it is a lot smaller than Disneyland in Anaheim but it was fun to go on the different versions of the same rides. The return route to London was a very very long one. We missed our ferry so we had to take a later one which just made it a longer day but we eventually got home and all in all enjoyed seeing Paris.
The following days were my last days at my internship and I was really sad to leave, the girl there were soooooo cool and they were sad I was leaving; their biggest complaint was that they were going to miss my chicy-ness and no one was like me. Haha chicy (cheek-e) is like sarcasism, witty, funny all in one. I guess I am chicy. Then Thursday, my last day, we ate lots of junk food and didn’t do too much work just enjoyed each other’s company and said our good bye's at the end of the day. I was really sad to leave but a lot of the girls visit L.A on holiday so I will get to see them soon! Also, the company has a project in L.A that they will be needing help with and Mark, the owner said; he would love to give me work!! So I am excited for that.
Friday was our last day of class nothing exciting about that just the fact that it was the last day.
Yesterday, Saturday, we went shopping and just had a relaxing day. I started to pack all my stuff that I have bought here for everyone and myself and I think I am going to need to get another suitcase. Not even joking… I don’t know how I ended up with so much!! LOL I already came with 3… Maybe I can bust out some mad packing skills and squeeze it all in the 3 I have. We will see what happens. Today is just another relaxing day….
Ill post pictures later today!

Up, Down and trying to get back Up
Today was fun until 8pm. I found myself all over London, I FOUND A CHIPOTLE!! Lunch tomorrow, I went to the Tate Modern which is a really cool modern art museum and then I made way back home after long day on my feet. I registered at 8pm London time for Fall quarter and of course it has been a hassle. I need a class that is only offered in the Fall and the teacher won’t give me a permission number to add the class (because I am taking a prereq for the class at the same time) until he gets back from his conference so I had to scramble and find a third class.. ugh this was the downer of that day. I am so frustrated I just want to be down with Cal Poly get married and move on with life. I just keep seeing the $$ signs add up on dang loans and I am over it! SCREW SCHOOL! Ha I know I know got to make Mom and Dad proud but seriously school has never been my thing. So now I am trying to drown the other flat mates out with the loud music in my ear phones as I chat on AIM with a friend and Aris. Can’t wait to get back home but also am going to miss it here. Prolly more than I think. Well its 9pm now I haven’t eaten dinner yet and I need to get something in my belly. See you all soon I’ll be home in 21days!!

Well I got a hold of EuroStar today, they said my card would be credited back in 5 business days. I am crossing my fingers everything goes smoothly after that. Today was a BEAUTIFUL day. The sun was out, it was close to 70 degrees and it was no pretty outside. I strolled thru the park, did some shopping it was wonderful. It is suppose to be like this for the rest of the week so I am looking forward to that.
Nothing to exciting has been happening or has happened since my EuroStar disaster. But will blog again soon when I have more to share

F*@! Eurostar
So! We tried to journey to Paris today on the Eurostar and didn’t make it very far. Stopped in Ashford (not like you know where that is, but it’s not far from London). There was a fire in the Euro tunnel and we got stopped for 2 hours. Since our trip was a day trip Wendy and I decided to terminate and head back to London! We were told the train wouldn’t get the next news update till 10am and it was 9am so we walked to the other platform to catch a train back and as we are sitting in the coffee shop looking at the window at the Eurostar train we just departed from across the track we see it take off!!! >: o It was like a since out a movie as our jaws dropped.
Anyway, we were told Eurostar might refund us since it was something out of our control, but we can’t get a hold of Eurostar!! So Wendy and I decided Pizza, Malibu, Pineapple Juice and getting me a Louis Vuitton would be a better day/night for us! SO here we are pizza in our face dancing and sipping on some gin… I mean juice… I mean Malibu!! =)

Barcelona Baby
So this past weekend a few girls and I went to Barcelona, Spain. It was quite an adventure to get there….. Short story- we missed our flight because we didn’t know that because we have non UK passports we needed a stamp on our boarding pass, so they didn’t let us board.
Note: We had an 8am flight so we got up at 4am to leave and catch the bus to the airport
We were escorted back through security and had to purchase another ticket because the company we were flying with does cheap flights and they are not refundable. Then to add on top of everything the only other flight to Barcelona was from a different airport and at 6pm so we bought the ticket, got a ticket for a coach to take us to the other airport and then continued our journey to the second airport. We decided just to go straight there regardless that the flight left at 6pm at it was only 9am. We got there about noon and spent the next 6 hours in the airport. It was a long day but we eventually made it and arrived in Barcelona at midnight local time.
The city is beautiful and ended up being a very enjoyable weekend. Pictures are up on facebook for you to check out. It’s not all of them but you can get an idea. It was so nice to feel the sun on my skin. The food was nothing to rave about though; I’m finding that to be a common thing here in Europe. HA!
That’s all for today, I haven’t been feeling to swell today so I am going to go rest some more.
I will be home in 38days!!
So far I need on my places to eat as soon as I get home:
Islands (duh)
Chipotle
Red Robin
Wahoo’s
Some good fried rice

Random Funny Pictures
Hi its me again, Laura
Well hello!! :) Feels like my week flew by!! It was sooo busy at work because it was Press Week which means all the fashion editors from all the magazines or TV shows came in to check out the new A/W collections that we represent. So I was constantly re-hanging things and keeping the sample/show room clean. We also got one of the lines late so while the girls had appointments I had to try to hang 16 boxes of samples (men’s and women’s) while staying out of the way and being quite. It is quit hard when you are working with wood hangers and have a small show room to begin with! Ha but I managed. It kept me busy so that was good. Then Thursday night I went shopping and I thought I was being all adventurous going by myself and what not and then as I was approaching the tube station to leave and go home the foot looker workers (the store is right next to the station) where making a barricade to not pass, all the traffic was stopped and then there was a bunch of camera men in front of the store so my first thought was like oh shoot I am gonna see someone famous!! SWEET! Then I heard sirens and someone say there was an explosion as I hear this I get closer to the barricade and see that shoe racks in front of the store were flat on the ground and the sidewalk was all broken up, and then I see that the tube station is closed. My heart starts racing like how the heck am I going to get home? I’m getting the hell out of here and walking to the tube station a couple blocks down. As I was walking it dawned on me- I was like if there was an explosion and the Bond St station is closed there is no way I am getting on the tube at Marble Arch so I hailed a cab, told the cab driver not to go down Oxford St and he kept my mind off everything by having a conversation about my dang Californian accent. Yes I am well aware that it is different. Thank you for the 500th time. Ahh so I made it home rushed up stairs my heart was still pounding I was shaking a little and I told Kaitlyn what happened. Thanks to her speedy fingers she googled what I was telling her and we found out that it was an electrical explosion and the Oxford St had just reopened. PHEW!!! Glad I was home, glad that I was safe and what an experience for my Thursday night.
Fri was fun- I had class and then after class Nancy and I went to the Enchanted Palace at Kensington Palace. It was very cool got to see some cool fashion and dresses 7 different Princess wore/ or were made to represent them. Kensington sits right on a beautiful park and we got ice cream walked around and took some funny pictures of some swan and silly ducks. Then after that we went to the Victoria and Albert Museum which is another fashion museum. There they had McQueen’s signature piece from his S/S ’10 collection (the last collection he designed before his death) it was breath taking and even more since it was his last. They also had some cool Westwood dresses which I got some inspiration from for my wedding dress! :D After that my feet were sooo tired we just came home and I went to sleep.
Saturday was another adventurous day. We went to Notting Hill and went to Portobello Market (yes like the movie)! It was cool; there were a lot of food and antiques. I found my Dad this old school bike horn for his bike. When I saw it I couldn’t help but think that if he were with me at the moment he would be squeezing all the different size horns they had and being silly, so I squeezed one on behalf of him and bought one for him so he can have fun on his electrical beach cruiser bike since he isn’t busy pedaling or anything. :D After we did the Market we just walked around the area with the houses and stuff and then made our way back to the tube to head home. I stayed home for the rest of the evening I was so tired and wanted to just relax.
Sunday was another fun fun day! I was in the Eastern Hemisphere and Western Hemisphere at the same time!! How you ask?? Well quit simple, we went to the Prime Meridian. The central line of longitude 0 degrees, the line that measures all time zones!! So cool! I have pictures and I promise they will be up on facebook soon!!! If not tonight, tomorrow I PROMISE. So we did that and then after Wendy and I went to Harrods because we are reward card holders (hehe) and got our 10% off all our shopping today! Don’t worry I didn’t spend any money on me I got all gifts for my peeps…. Ok ok I bought my self one thing. ;) Then we tried to go home and the Tube was packed I couldn’t handle being pushed and bumped into anymore so I grabbed Wendy’s arm and forced us on the dang train! Ugh so annoying!! Now I am just in the flat listening to my iTunes trying to enjoy some “me” time updating you guys, my journal, and my next task is pictures but it is already 9pm and I have laundry and school to prepare before tomorrow morning! I miss all of you so much! Even if you don’t think I may miss you I do!!
Have a brilliant week!!

WOW OH WOW MY OH MY BABY HOW YOU DO THAT MAKE A GROWN MAN CRY.....
I honestly don’t know where to start... So if I jump around please bare with me. I think I will just fill you in starting from Thurs April 15 (tax day?! Not in London- btw there is NO tax in London, you pay the price on the price tag!)
Thurs- Pretty relaxing day at the internship. Press Week is this week so me and the other intern were just in the sample room hanging up samples, organizing (we are the only ones who do ha!), and cleaning thru magazines from past coverage on our brands. Then we got to leave early at 5pm! It was so nice to get on the tube and actually be able to breathe! Usually when I get off work at 6pm I have to squish my way on and I can’t breathe, I feel like a tiny little sardine squished in between two tall businessmen who usually have some weird scent seeping from them! Anyway, I rushed home and Wendy and I were going to meet up and go to Harrods but when I was walking up to the apartment she was just getting off the tube and we decided not to go then I called her and was like- no we need to go! I’ll meet you at the station and we will go! Well of course I waited at the stupid bus stop for like 15 minutes and then the bus came and almost didn’t let me on! He didn’t open the front door (where you get on) until people got off (from the back door) and the others moved down the bus but of course people weren’t moving down so what do I do?! Squeeze my way on a literally push people down the bus! Jeez come on cant they see that’s what you are suppose to do? Just like the tube people I am not even from here and I can pick up on that. So I make it (barely) and we go to Harrods. Then we see the owner of Harrods with his body guards. A little German guy!! So worth that dang bus experience! That was Thursday.
Fri- We had class at 9am and I can’t recall what we did after…… but I do recall my Dad calling me at 2am (my time) and waking me up because he finally figured out how to use the calling card he got! Ha-ha it was worth it though because it was nice to talk with him and hear his voice!
Sat- Nancy and I had a nail appointment at 12pm at an OPI nail salon in Selfridges (it’s like Harrods). I was so excited when I found this because it reminded me of my Mom AND they had gel nails which is what I get because it last longer than a manicure but looks natural like a manicure. Then after that Nancy and I went and did the London Eye. OMG so amazing!! It was a little scary but we saw amazing views and now I can say I have been on the WORLDS LARGEST FERRIS WHEEL! Woot Woot!! It is located right on the river that longs thru London so after we got ice cream because it was 60 degrees and it was hot! Yes I think 60 degrees is hot now! :) So we ate our ice cream walked along the river saw all the street performers, some crazy ones you will have to check out the pictures on facebook (I will post later) and did some shopping. Then after we went to Hamleys its London’s FAO Schwartz... it was neat to see all the toys after that we were tired of walking so I stopped one of the little guys on a bike pulling a carriage behind him and he took us to the museum we wanted to go to. There was a Van Gough exhibition and it was soooooo neat to see his art up close. He was so talented and the crazy he got mentally the better his art. Amazing! After that we just walked around and found a Rainforest CafĂ© we had dinner there and then went home. It was a long but fun and eventful day!
Sun- Wendy, Nancy, Jackie and I went to Brick Ln. It was neat. It’s a shopping market and st that has a lot of vintage stuff. So cool! Wendy got a pimped out old school hat with the mesh that comes over your face. Its soo cool and it came with a pimped out hat box!! So old school! I found a girl who makes gluten free cupcakes! Wooh woo! I am going to go back next week to get some! We shopped around there for a while then made our way home.
Mon- Wendy and I went to the post office and then to class and guess what? We were packed in like sardines on the tube! After class we made our way home, the tube was nice and airy and we had a quality convo, when we got home I had lunch then we went to Oxford for a dang homework assignment and we encountered some strange things. On our way back to the tube this foreigner kind of hopped/ran/skipped up to Wendy got in her face and said “Prim-ark?” Wendy backed up and was like excuse me and she said it again and Wendy pointed her in the direction then right before the tube one of the news paper guys kind of did the same thing but just made a strange noise. She thought it was a mating call! LOL. Now we are just at home! Listening to music doing HW making dinner and hanging out.
I hope this is enjoyable for everyone and it is enjoyable to read. I can’t capture every moment as it happened but some funny stuff has really happened to us and it def. makes our adventures home or to school or where ever we are going so much better. There are def different walks of life in this city that is for sure!

WOW!
Ahh! Its been more than a week since I have posted. I am soo sorry it been busy, obviously.
So Sat Wendy, Nancy and I went to Bath, England. It was very cool! We saw the Jane Austen museum (she wrote pride and pred./ sense and sensibilty and more) she lived in Bath so we got to see her home, the garden she would walk thru everyday and other neat things. Bath is also the home of the Roman Baths and we saw the Fashion Museum (of course!)!! It was so col, remeber that really head turning dress that got J.Lo so much coverage back in the early 2000's??? Well guess what I saw it up close a personal and let me tell you that open V neck is very very low!! I also got to see some other famous garments.
I cant remember what I did on Sunday?? Oh! It was Wendy's birthday hahah but she wanted to go to the coffee shop and do hw!!! So we did that, then she dyed her hair and while she was at her appointment I went to this really cool market with the other girls from our flat.
Mon was class and then shopping on Oxford St. - a really really cool street with only stores some cheap some expensive.... We did not go here voluntarily, it was our assignment!!! We had to vist 6 certain stores and write about them and our experience there. It was soo fun!! lol.
Tues and Wed. I am here at my internship! Yesterday and fun I got some free samples :) and today I found out we are doing a press event for Sex and the City 2... if anyone knows me well, they know I just died and went to heaven!! I can not wait for that. May 26th could not come sooner!! How cool right?? AWHHHHHHHH! I can NOT wait.
Ill try to write soon again! I am also going to try to post more pictures on Facebook, it was acting up last time. What do you guys want to know? Write me a comment and Ill tell all in my next post :)

Easter Sunday
Well today was as eventful as it was going to get. We got up at 11am our time- this sleeping thing is so hard to get down. If anyone knows me I am always up super early never sleeping in!! HA not in London!!
Anyway after getting up and checking my email I decided to talk a walk across the street in whats known as Regents Park. I guess something similar to Central Park. It was nice lost of families and dogs out. Lots of children's laughter which is always something enjoyable to hear in a great big park. We found a hill that is actually in the part of the park that's spills over on our side of the street. We walked up this hill and found an AMAZING view of the skyline! We couldn't believe our eyes and it has been some what sunny today so it was perfect. After that we crossed back over and found lots of futbol games aka as soccer ;) So naturally Wendy had to stop and soak in as much Mexican culture as she could cause there isn't much here. LOL (j/k Wendy you know I love you)
After our walk Wendy and I had a pretty funny conversation about food,
Wendy- Whats the first thing you are going to eat when you get home?
Me- Idk, I haven't thought to much about it, I guess Islands, Chipotle, and either Ricardos or El Tor Why?
Wendy- I was just writing a list of places to go to when I get home (said with a smile)
Me- Why, cause the food is Fu*#ing DISGUSTING here??
The food is soooo bland here, you would think I was in heaven because I am a "picky eater" according to my family but I don't is sooooooooo bad. Ugh So now I have started a list to eat when I get home. Any suggestions?
Since everything is closed today because of Easter we made an Easter dinner to share and have some bonding time. It was yummy!!
Now we are planning our Mon since it is a Holiday tomorrow for them Europeans, I think we will go to Oxford street= good shopping
I hope everyone is enjoying this and had a Happy Easter!!! <3

Thursday and Good Friday
EVERYONE makes fun of our accent!! Apparently we Californians have a unique one, unlike regular Americans- as the guy at the ASDA told Wendy and I.
Thursday-
Well Thursday was my second day at my internship. Again, it went by sooo fast. I helped one of the girls pick out samples to send to the morning new show that was gonna do a piece on fashion trends- ugh it was fabulous! Everyday I stand in a HUGE closet full of shoes, bags, clothes, everything- you name its in there. I don't care if the first week I am in there grabbing samples putting them in a plastic garment bag and putting them in a box, I am loving the experience.
We put samples away that were sent out and had come back in. I finished up my jewelry/watch display, and then I wrote a Press Release! Holy Moly that was scary. On the stop pressure I told them it was my first one... I am hoping to get constructive feed back on Tues and see what they thought. It was kinda nerve-racking because they spell color- colour so I had to make sure I was spelling word the proper way according to the English. After that I was back in the closest puling more garments and bagging them storage. We are getting ready for the new season to come in. While I was doing that, we have a HUGE thunder storm. It was soooo scary! I tried not to freak out about walking home in the rain but by the time 6pm rolled around it was done. That's the thing about this London rain... It rains for 15mins and then stops for 40min and then come back. I have seen the sun twice. lol!! Then last night was was windy and coooooold!
We experienced the club life last night. Very interested. Don't worry I didn't drink I was just along for the ride, but they don't have a last call there... and they stay open till 3:30am, annnnnd the guys dance soooooooooooo weird. When we left we got a cab home and they are so cute looking. Like little bubbles and they fit 5 people. They are Mercedes too. EVERYTHING is Mercedes or BMW- that's what the cop cars are LOL. The buses, delivery trucks, and cabs are Mercedes. After we got home we were all so tired and looking forward to having Friday off!! Here is London they get Good Fri and the Mon after Easter off!
Good Fri-
I slept in till 11am and I think I finally got on schedule with this time change business. I tightened up my room and I found an equivalent to a Target just outside of central London that Wendy and I were going to try to go to; we needed a few things for the apartment. So we ventured there in the wind rain and cold and we discovered some cool things!
Currys- The UK version of Best Buy
PoundWorld- The UK version of the 99 cents store
ASDA- Owned by Walmart, enough said
B&Q- UK version of Home Depot. It is identical- everything is Black and Orange.
Then after our adventure to that shopping center we made our way to one of the main Tube Stations were we needed to turn in our voucher for a new travelcard! We have to do this every week, so lame, annoying and frustrating. The girl that helped me was nice and explained what I needed to do. Wendy on the other hand a some prick of a guy! Ugh I almost went crazy on him because he told Wendy "Well, you shouldn't come to me if you don't know what you need or want" I wanted to be like, "Why the hell are you sitting your lazy ass on the chair for then?" This guy printed Wendy 9 of the same travel cards instead of telling her to come back each week for a new one. Wendy even handed him all the vouchers and said I need 9weeks worth of travel cards just like I did to my lady. haha we got the manager and he was soo nice and helped fix the problem. But seriously, I cant believe he said that to us! Ugh I was sooo annoyed. Anyway, after that we went to the grocery store and Whole Foods. My arms are hurting from walking home with groceries and you have to go almost every other day bc they sell things in small quantities, and things don't last as long.
After our crazy adventure we just came home made some guacamole and eat dinner and rested and that brings us to right now... 10:00pm on Good Friday.
I hope this blog finds everyone happy and healthy. It has been quite a roller coaster this week. I hope to just rest up and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
I Miss EVERYONE soooo much!!

Day 2 and Day 3
Day 2
Im so glad I have time to write to you today!! Yesterday was manic (trying to pick up UK talk so I can not stand out with my Ca accent ;) ) We left at 9am with a guy from Anglo American who met us at our flat and showed us the closest tube station, how to use it and the route to the Anglo American centre where our classes will be most likely. We then had an orientation with a London Metropolitan Police officer who told us to give him our pepper spray if we had any bc it is considered illegal in the UK. Good thing Steve didnt end up getting me any- Sarah wanted me to have some! HAHA. Then we meet some more staff who went over our internships and how to get there via tube. After that we had a break to have lunch and we found this really cute little cafe and all I could get was a baked potato but it was REALLY good. Everyone else didnt like there food?? After lunch we had a private coach that took us to all the famous stops in London, i.e. the Palace, Oxford St, the Globe Theatre, Westminster Abbey and some other famous spots. We got to get out at a few places and take pictures Im gonna post them soon on my blog but it takes up a lot of Internet minutes so I need to try to find a cafe this weekend where I can get free Internet. Anyway, after that we got dropped off at Covent Garden- it is a really hip young area and we had diner res. at 6pm for the 7 of us paid by AngloAmerican. It was a super nice restaurant that served oven baked pizza but of course I couldnt get that so the Manager let me order a salad and it bloody nasty. Then the waitress split Sparkling Wine on me! and my feet were already soaked bc I wore flats and it started raining when we were out and obviously flats dont keep you dry! ha. Im learning a lot here about the damn London weather! After dinner we had to get back home via the tube on our own!! I was so nervous but we did it and it helped my nerves about getting to my internship. We didnt get home till 9pm!! Then I had to map out my route to work and figure out what I was gonna wear and everything. Ugh what a day!!!
Day 3
Today was sooooo much better!! My nerves are gone. I enjoyed my walk home from wok more than the one to work but that might be different tomorrow. I am loving my job! Its so awesome! We come in, in the morning and tighty up and then we read all the magazines that come in to see if any of our companies are covered, then there is a meeting all together to talk about what was covered and any hot fashion topics. Then after that I worked with one girl who gave me basic tasks. I did a watch display and she said, "oh! Lovely, it hasnt looked like this is months" so that made me feel good. Then I bagged up sample clothes from a company that they are no longer going to cover. Then it was time to go! My tube ride was good since I knew where I was going. Im looking forward to tomorrow!!
OH! after I got home Wendy and I went to a whole foods and I found more gf food! Things are looking good!!
xoxo
P.s.I promise I will have pictures and videos up this weekend- it just sucks up my minutes (I only get so many).

Day 1
Below are some common questions I have been getting:
1) How was the flight & what did you do for that long of a time?!
It was nice it was a 10 hour 10 min flight. It was kind of small and tight but I watched tv and then had some dinner then went to sleep after that- not good sleep but I slept and when I woke up we had two hours left. I tossed and turned but I had my lambie blanket, my lambie sleepy mask and my travel pillow to keep me comfortable for short periods of time before something started aching.
2) What did you do when you got off the plane? Your dad said something about you met up with a tour person or something?
Well Wendy and I got off and followed the signs for baggage "reclaim" an then we had to go thru customs. The lady was kind of a bit rude to me. She asked me all these questions and took my finger prints. None of the other girls had to do that. Then we got our bags and met up with our leader. He pulled a coach around for us and took us to our apartment.
3) What's your apartment like?
The apartment is really nice. Ill post pictures soon. The showers suck! The water barely comes out and the way they are designed are funny.
4) How are all the girls getting along so far? Look like it's going to be a good meshing group?
Ya- its only the first day. But we all get a long well. There are three rooms in the flat and Wendy and I share one and then two others share one and the other three are in the third room.
5) Do you know where your school is yet in relation to your living area?
Nope we will know tomorrow tho.
6) What have you all done today since you landed.
Well we unpacked. Then we went to walk to the store to get food and an adaptor because mine didnt work. It wasnt raining when we left so we didnt bring an umbrella but of course it started raining and we got wet! Like kinda really wet. Lesson learned- ALWAYS have an umbrella with you. Then we stopped at a grocery store to get some food and then we came home and started taking showers, eating dinners and I started freaking out to Wendy. I miss everyone that no doubt, Im scared I dont know anything around here but her and Aris both really helped me. This is a learning experience and thats why I did it. My feelings ar normal and you cant fix normal. So Im gonna put my head up and take each day as a new one and a new learning experience.
OK everyone I will start filming tomorrow and hopefully have something up for you tomorrow night or shrty after. Pray for me and keep me in you thoughts.

Pack, Un-pack, Re-pack
That is what Jen (my sister) made me do today. I got up at 8am and started pulling everything out of my closet, I started becoming overwhelmed so my sisters(Jen and Sarah) and I went to get pedicures. It was the first time it hit me that I was leaving and we wouldn't be able to do this for a while. Not gonna lie, I started to cry a little in the salon :(
After pedicures Sarah and Jen helped me finish packing. I got everything packed and we discovered one of my luggage's was waaaay heavy, so we decided to get a scale weigh me and then weigh me holding the luggage to see if I was over weight, I mean the bag! LOL It was; so Jen made me un-pack everything!! :( I wasn't fond of the idea. It was 2pm already and I was done! So we un-packed and went to run some last minute errands.
While out on my errands my ATM card got stuck!! I was making my final deposit so I would have lots of $$ (NOT!!) and it wasn't coming out of the ATM. All I could think of was "This is NOT happening to me right now! I need that card- they will never get it to me in time. I leave tomorrow!!" But Thanks to my smart older sister she got out of the car (we were in the drive thru) walked around pushed some buttons and poof! it came out! :) We can't remember what she pushed, all we remember is that it was scary!! haha
So after that we came home and did the re-packing and weighing. I almost dropped the bags on Jens head a few times while I was standing on the scale holding the bag and she was under checking the final weight but OMG what a good idea- We fit everything in plus more!!! Yay!!! I feel so good now.
My adventures I'm sure will continue today- We three sisters are going out tonight for our last night together for awhile! There is never a dull moment when we are together. :)
Final Luggage count: 2 full size and 1 carryon
Final Luggage weight: Bag 1- 62lbs Bag 2- 47lbs
Ill be posting again shortly!! Send me your comments ideas or thoughts. This is my very first blog soo let me know!! :)
